EUROGLAM Party

7pm-12am SUNDAY 25th May (Week11)
Bring on the hairspray, throw on those silver tights, the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest is coming to a bar near you!
After the success and singing sensation that was Eurotrash in 2007, the multicultural kids are back with EUROGLAM, 2008's celebration of European songsters and their outrageously awesome performances (pyrotechnics anyone?). The 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Belgrade, Serbia, will be larger than life, as it is splashed across Manning's screen with Euro-pop music filling the dance floor for the EuroGlam Dance Off.
European delicacies will grace your palates and beers from the bar a-flowing! Euro-Glamorous is the dress code, so glam it up with some oversized bling, tasseled tights and pinstripes; or if you're up for it, come in a National or Traditional costume! (Prizes for King & Queen of EuroGlam, and for the Best National Costume are up for the taking).
Pre-sale tickets are $5 Access/ $8 GA - available from outside Manning or the Access Centre (+bf). Tickets include a free drink and all the European food your heart desires!
Brought to you by your USU Multicultural Program and the Sydney University CUI (Italian), Croatian, French, German, Greek, AUJS (Jewish), Serbian and Spanish societies.
