With USU's Verge Arts Festival now launched, FrenchSoc will be enjoying crêpes et croissants at the World Culture Fair TUES 2nd 12-3, our Wine and Cheese Night returns TUES 2nd 7-10, une Soirée du Cinéma Français TUES 9th 5-10 at the Verge Festival Bar and a French Poetry Slam FRI 12th 12-2. Come to the World Culture Fair this Tuesday for some good grub, some global beats courtesy of The Crooked Fiddle Band (http://www.myspace.com/thecrookedfiddleband) and some fanfare for all.
Foods to tempt the tastebuds: French crepes with nutella, Gozleme, Vegesoc curry, Malaysian satay chicken, German pretzels and Korean Bulgogi (BBQ beef). What more can your little tastebuds ask for? USU are cooking you some Roo burgers, to give the fair a positively Aussie flavour! So, come Tuesday, find yourself a patch of grass or a table and enjoy the World Culture Fair as part of the 2008 Verge Arts Festival :)

Do you like Wine? Do you like Cheese? Do you like live music? Do you like to Party? If you answered yes to any of the above then this is for you! Jointly hosted during VERGE!! by five of USYD's finest clubs, WineSoc, FrenchSoc, SASS (Sydney Arts Students Society), JazzSoc, with contributions from the Writers Society, our Wine and Cheese Night promises to be a fantastic evening!
The premise is basically: to drink wine, eat cheese, listen to jazz, enjoy fantastic creative writings and to socialise.
Ticket prices are:
WineSoc/FrenchSoc/SASS Supporting Members/JazzSoc/WritersSoc = $5
Access Card Holders = $8
Everyone Else = $10
Included in the price is WINE and much quality gourmet CHEESE as well as LIVE MUSIC and CREATIVE WRITINGS!!!
