Week 3 Semester 1 News!

njour les amis!

Nous sommes très contents de voir such a great turnout at the conversation groups this week! We also hope that everyone has been enjoying the French Film Festival. It’s still on, so make sure you don’t miss out on your chance for discounted tickets through FrenchSoc!

This week with FrenchSoc

Conversation Groups
[Manning Backcourt, 1-2 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays]
Parlez français avec FrenchSoc Monday-Thursday from 1-2 in the Manning Backcourt. All levels are welcome, from beginners to native French-speakers. Come and join us, have a coffee, and speak a bit of French! If it’s raining, don’t forget to look inside – keep an eye out for our exec in their FrenchSoc t-shirts, and of course our huge French flag.

Study Group
[Isabel Fidler, 2-3 p.m., Thursdays]
Stop procrastinating and get your homework done with your fellow French students! FrenchSoc study groups will be in Isabel Fidler, on the top floor of Manning, every Thursday from two to three p.m.

LOL
[Palace Academy Cinema, 6:30 p.m., Thursday 18th March, 3a Oxford Street, Paddington]
Join us for LOL, part of the Alliance Francaise’s French Film Festival. We’ll be selling tickets at $10 Access or $15 non-Access at conversation groups, so make sure you come along and get one before they sell out. We’ll meet outside the Footbridge Theatre on Parrammatta Rd at 5:45 p.m., so keep an eye out for our exec in their FrenchSoc t-shirts. If you want to join us at the cinema, meet us outside at 6:15 p.m.

Café Rendezvous au Petit Tarte
[Le Petit Tarte Café, 4-6pm, Tuesday 16th March, 219 Glebe Pt Rd]
Rendez-Vous at Petit Tarte Café in Glebe this Thursday – come and join us for a free coffee or cake (or both at a discounted price for FrenchSoc members!). Le Petit Tarte is opposite the park between St John's Rd and Bridge Rd. On se voit là-bas!

A bientôt!
