Vin et Fromage at the Alliance Française
[Alliance Française, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday 22nd April, 257 Clarence St]
FrenchSoc and the Union Francophone (our Macquarie Uni counterparts!) are invited to the Alliance Française for one of their famous wine and cheese evenings, from 7-8 p.m. this Thursday, 22nd April. This is a great opportunity to meet French students from Macquarie and to learn all about French wine and cheese from the experts. Already significantly discounted courtesy of our friends at Alliance, FrenchSoc will be selling tickets at conversation groups this week. Prices are $20 non-Access, $14 non-members, and $10 for members. Make sure you get in early, because we’re sure to sell out fast!
For those of you who don’t know how to get to the Alliance Française, meet us out the front of Fisher library by 6:10 p.m. on Thursday and we'll take a group. Keep an eye out for our exec in their FrenchSoc t-shirts!

Belgian Beer Café with the Union Francophone from Macquarie Uni
[Belgian Beer Café, 8:30 p.m., Thursday 22nd April, 135 Harrington Street, The Rocks]
Even if you can’t make it to Vin et Fromage at the Alliance this Thursday, join us afterwards at the Belgian Beer Café for drinks and a chance to mix and mingle with fellow francophiles from Macquarie Uni!

Conversation Groups
[Manning Backcourt, 1-2 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays]
Parlez français avec FrenchSoc Monday-Thursday from 1-2 in the Manning Backcourt. Free drinks for members are back! All levels are welcome, from beginners to native French-speakers. Come and join us, have a coffee, and speak a bit of French! If it’s raining, don’t forget to look inside – keep an eye out for our exec in their FrenchSoc t-shirts, and of course our huge French flag.

Study Group
[Isabel Fidler, 2-3 p.m., Thursdays]
Stop procrastinating and get your homework done with your fellow French students! FrenchSoc study groups will be in Isabel Fidler, on the top floor of Manning, every Thursday from two to three p.m.

A bientôt!
